WPATH Compliant Letters

The Kidd Clinic believes that all gender identities, and gender expressions deserve access to evidence-based mental health care and medical interventions.

We approach this process through a lens that honours not only your gender identity but your cultural profile and your neurological profile.

WPATH Assessments and Gender-Affirming Care

WPATH stands for the World Professional Association for Transgender Health, an international organisation that sets standards of care for trans and gender non-conforming individuals. A WPATH letter is a document from a qualified mental health professional stating that you meet the criteria for gender-affirming medical interventions, such as complex hormone replacement therapy (HRT) or surgery.

In our WPATH Compliant Letters and Affirming Care Therapy Sessions, we prioritise:

Informed Consent

We break down complex processes into manageable pieces to ensure full clarity. We adapt our communication style to respect your processing needs.

Affirmation Without Judgement

We honour your self-definition without imposing external expectations.

Holistic Support

Beyond the letter, we offer a safe space to explore your feelings, discuss barriers, and prepare for the next steps in your journey.

Our goal is not to just provide documentation, but to partner with you in a process that respects your bodily autonomy and dignity, and capacity to make decisions. If you have questions about what the process looks like for you, please reach out. We are ready when you are.
