Groups at The Kidd Clinic: Service Agreement
At The Kidd Clinic, we do our best to provide a variety of tailored group programs to suit the needs of our clients and their families. This approach to groups requires extensive preparation and in-session support. To allow us to continue to deliver these programs, we require that all participating families sign the consent form. After purchasing your ticket you will receive a full intake and consent form and contract, please allow up to 4 business days to receive these.
Cost
The cost covers all 5 sessions of this group, this cost will need to be paid, even if you cannot make it on the day.
If you have NDIS funding, you will need to chat to your LAC or plan manager to ask if the group will be covered by your funding, everyone’s plan is different. We are not NDIA registered. If you wish to use NDIS funds to pay after the first session date, please reach out to groups@kiddclinic.com.au to book in. You will need to obtain confirmation of available funds from your plan manager, and send it through to us in order to book into the group.
Medicare
This group is eligible for rebates with the valid documents
You will need a GP Referral and MHTP to process your rebates, and the referral must include the following points:
Your name and D.O.B
Reference to a MHTP or 'better access care'
Reference to 'Group Therapy Sessions'
Signed and dated by the GP (must be dated before the first group session)
The GP's provider number
The MHTP must not be an existing therapy MHTP being used for psychology sessions. Medicare rebates are processed after each group session. You could receive around a $20 rebate per session. Clients have received larger rebates this is based on how much the individual has spent with Medicare past the threshold.
Payment and Cancellation Policy
Full payment of the group is required prior to the program commencing, if you are plan managed and want to pay after each session you will need to obtain a 'service booking' or confirmation of available funds from your plan manager. If you do not wish to continue with the group program or are unable to attend a session, the fee for the full program will still apply. This is to cover the planning costs and ensure we can continue to deliver the program to the remaining group members.
Due to the planning and resources needed to run groups, we require 7 business days notice if your circumstances change. Cancellations can affect the viability of the group, and they may not be able to run without the right number of attendees. If you cancel within 7 business days we will charge a cancellation fee (equal to the full cost of the group).
