Kate Calway Full Profile

Kate Calway

Registered Psychologist

BPsych (Hons) MProfPsych

I describe myself as a caring and respectful clinician, adopting an ‘always learning, always curious’ way of working. I enjoy meeting and working with all people but particularly love supporting adolescents, young adults, and their families. Using a collaborative and transparent approach to therapy, I believe that no two people experience life the same and so formulate care centred around each client and their individual needs.

I recently completed my Masters in Professional Psychology at ECU and over the final years of my studies, I became passionate about helping support neurodiverse individuals. I am thrilled to be working in a passionate neurodiversity affirming and LGBTQIA+ friendly space such as The Kidd Clinic.

When I’m not in the therapy room, I’m engulfing myself in our wonderful Western Australian backyard through camping, hiking, or beaching. I am always exploring new activities to do or places to dine in the city with family and friends. I also love all pets from cats to dogs, guinea pigs to fish... and everything in between!
