Isobel Ziatas

Provisional Psychologist

BSc (Psych & HRM) BPsych MProfPsych

I am a Provisional Psychologist passionate about supporting individuals through a gentle, client-centred, informed, and affirmative lens. I have previously worked in numerous roles focused on supporting the wellbeing of neurodivergent and neurotypical young people and their families.

In 2021 I graduated with my Masters of Professional Psychology from Edith Cowan University and am currently completing my final year of supervised practice before becoming a Registered Psychologist. I consider the therapeutic relationship to be central to intervention and therefore may spend extra time ensuring the comfort and safety of an individual prior to engaging in therapeutic intervention. Furthermore, I strive to interact with people using a PACE (playful, accepting, curious and empathetic) attitude to support this.

I believe in continual development and am regularly trying to acquire new skills and knowledge, allowing me to individualise my interactions and treatment to fit the needs, strengths, and goals of the client.

I have a range of therapeutic interests including anxiety, neurodiversity, self-compassion, and trauma.

When I’m not at work I try to recharge outside in the sun or inside with my nose in a book or creating something.
