Frieda Scholten Laidler

Registered Psychologist

I'm a passionate advocate for supporting my clients of all ages and abilities, and a big kid at heart. I received my Masters degree in Psychology (Professional) in 2018, and since then have worked in a diverse range of settings including counselling psychology, positive behaviour support, and Autism diagnostic assessments.

I'm a firm believer in social and disability justice and this underpins my work with my clients. I particularly enjoy working with children and adolescents. I have experience working with a variety of mental health concerns including anxiety, depression, obsessive compulsive disorder, panic disorder, eating disorders and post-traumatic stress disorder. As a positive behaviour support practitioner, I am also confident working with behaviours that can be experienced as challenging or confronting.

When I'm not at work I'm playing video games and finding new and creative ways to consume more carbs.
